The Los Angeles Times website is down. Amazing how it takes an earthquake to flood them with traffic.
Just had a great dinner at Mesa Grill on Fifth Avenue. That Bobby Flay sure knows how to put a meal together.
Intermission at the revival of “South Pacific” at Lincoln Center. It is a very good production with superb performances and great staging.
At the St. James Theatre to see Patti Lupone in the revival of “Gypsy”.
The revival of “Gypsy” was better than I thought it would be. Went to see Jeff Koons exhibit at the Met after.
I’ve noticed that my battery on my Blackberry dies a lot faster when I’m in New York City. Why do you think that is?
Had dinner at Anthos last night. Upscale Greek food. Not really sure if you could call it Greek, but the food and service were outstanding!
Just saw “In The Heights”, the 2008 Tony winner for Best Musical. It was really fantastic and I’m glad I got a chance to catch it.

“Dark Knight” had a record $155.3 million opening weekend beating the “Spider-Man 3” opening by $4 million. Inflationary rumors are true!

Seeing a play called “Shipwrecked” at the Geffen Playhouse. I hope it’s good because parking was a bitch due to movie premiere in Westwood.
Finally getting around to doing my expense from the Cannes Film Festival. With the exchange rate of the Euro it’s quite ugly.
Listening to a band called Someone Still Loves You, Boris Yelstin. Not sure about the name, but the music is pretty good.
With Plurk, Pownce, Facebook and Twitter to update what does everyone think of using Ping.fm? Do people like it or mind a poster using it?
Returning from St. Louis and landed at LAX. The Los Angeles smog looks particularly thick today.
Just left the St. Louis Zoo which is quite a nice place but completely packed with Fourth of July tourists. At least it wasn’t boiling hot.
Just flew over the swollen Mississippi River while landing in St. Louis. It’s pretty amazing to see how high it has risen.
Not only did British Airways lose my luggage, but they only gave me 25% of the miles flown because I was in coach. Bastards!
