Waiting for Calexico to take the stage at the Henry Fonda Theater in Hollywood. The Cave Singers are on stage now.
Landed at LAX and made it through customs, baggage and onto the parking lot bus all in under 30 minutes. On a Sunday! That may be a record.
From Earl’ Court Road station to my gate at Heathrow in under an hour. Awesome!
The cafe at the National Gallery serves a sandwich with “free range egg”. How can an egg be free range? A chicken can, but not an egg.
The National Gallery is amazing. Hard to believe so many paintings from over 800 years are in one place. And the setting is fantastic.
Enjoying intermission during “La funciulla del West” at the Royal Opera House in Covent Garden. Good production so far.
On the train from King’s Cross in London on my way to Hertfordshire to visit Datasat.
At BAFTA having a drink with a former DTS co-worker.
Attending Screen International’s digital cinema conference at the Vue Cinema in Leicester Square. Been interesting so far.
Spent the day at DTS Digital Cinema in Twyford. Now on the train headed to Paddington Station in London.
Landed at Heathrow, got through customs, picked up luggage and found my ride - all in under 45 minutes. That’s amazing.
It only took me an hour to drive from Chatsworth to LAX, park, check in at Virgin Atlantic and get into the security line. Sweet!
Planning for ShowEast is so much work. So many moving parts and so little time.

You can own a piece of Hollywood history for a mere… $31 million! The El Capitan Theatre on Hollywood Boulevard is up for sale. Disney will remain a long term tenant.
I’ve been swamped at work and haven’t been on Twitter in over a week. Wow… check out all the changes!
Watching the Chicago Cubs clinch the central division and head into the playoffs. A shame they had to do it against the St. Louis Cardinals.
It’s official. I hate moving!
Still moving tons of boxes to the new Calabasas house, but took a break to visit the Apple store to see if they can fix Tracy’s iPhone.
Moving tons of boxes into the new Calabasas house. It’s 101 degrees Fahrenheit in the West Valley today. Ugh!
Darn it! Turns out Time Warner cable doesn’t run into the new Calabasas house. They have to send a crew out to dig up the street.
Time Warner cable guy just showed up to the Calabasas house at noon with one minute to spare. Why do they always do that?!
The pest control company used by the former owner’s of the new Calabasas house just happened to swing by. We’ll probably use them too.
At the new house in Calabasas to let the carpet cleaners in and to wait for the Time Warner cable guy. He better show by noon!
Just spent a small fortune at Threadless.com

Waiting in line at the Palm Theatre in Telluride to see “Slumdog Millionaire”. The place is packed with hundreds of festivalgoers.
Given the poverty, violence and despair portrayed in both “Slumdog Millionaire” and “Firaaq”, India may be getting a bum deal at Telluride.
Sitting in Denver Airport enjoying a very long layover before heading home to Los Angeles.
Just got into the Indian film “Firaaq” at the Palm Theatre in Telluride. This is one of the free screenings, but it isn’t that crowded.
“Slumdog Millionaire” was really an engaging, interesting, and fun movie. If promoted properly Danny Boyle could have another hit movie.
“Firaaq” was quite good for a film from a first time director. It depicted the rather sad reality of Hindu-Muslim violence in India.
