It’s official! The footage from “Avatar” shown at Cine Expo was amazing. Absolutely stunning in 3D. Should be a huge hit.
“Transformers 2” is a narrative mess and way too long, but as a special FX extravaganza the sound and images are amazing!
The digital cinema panel at Cinema Expo in Amsterdam was informative and engaging. Definitely glad I attended.

At the airport in Brussels. Walked by a shop where an American film was on a TV at top volume, curse words and all. F-bombs away!
After purchasing a Belgian waffle in a Brussels metro station today I finally see what all the fuss is about. They’re delicious!
The European Cinema Summit in Brussels has been informative so far. They have to work out a few kinks to make the event run smoothly.

Saw the Off-Broadway play “Ruined”, a brutaly frank story about a group of sexually abused Congolese women. Hard subject, great play.
