RT @NuImageFilms: Mipcom is around the corner but then again there’s always something around the corner in our industry.
I wonder how many films the Central Park Zoo’s penguin exhibit has appeared in. Just saw it in “Made” and it’s in “Madagascar”.
Stumbled across “Made” on IFC. Jon Favreau and Vince Vaughn play off each other perfectly. Forgot how good this film is.
File under useless knowledge: The F-bomb is used 274 times in “Made” during the 90 minute film. That’s 3.03 times per minute.
Just watched ABC’s new Christian Slater vehicle, “The Forgotten”. It’s only been one episode but I don’t think it will last.
Quite happy to hear that Pearl Jam is poised for it’s first number one album in 13 years - http://bit.ly/3FVg1v
Watching premiere of “Flash Forward” on Tivo. Can’t figure out what’s going on for the life of me, but it’s shot beautifully.

Still pouting over USC’s loss to Washington earlier today. I just didn’t think USC could lose to such a historically dreadful team.
So happy to see Pearl Jam’s most recent album, Backspacer, is getting good reviews - http://ow.ly/qdLL
Finally sitting down to watch the 61st Primetime Emmy Awards on TiVo. They look pretty darn good in Hi-Def.
Primetime Emmy Awards aren’t broadcast live to the West Coast which is so disappointing in the Internet age.

It was just announced at the 3D Entertainment Summit that they are plannin a 3D Gaming Summit, June 2010 in San Francisco.
Back from #IBC09 and now attending 3D Entertainment Summit at the Universal Hilton. Fearing I’m experiencing an overdose of 3D.
Ken Schafer of Innoventive Software is demoing FrameForge Previz Studio 3 at #IBC09. Amazing pre-vizualisation software.
In the speaker’s briefing room at #IBC09 preparing to moderate the panel on Alternative 3D Stereoscopic Content.
The panel at #IBC09 went well from what people who were in the audience told me. It was hard to tell from the stage. It was certainly fun.
At #IBC09 attending a panel on the making of the 25th anniversary video for “Spinal Tap”. Harry Shearer is on the panel.
“Stereo 3D: What can stereoscpic 3D offer?” Seminar at #IBC09 asked more questions than it answered. It was very interesting though.

About to attend the awards for #IBC09. They are showing the “Avatar” footage at the end. Hope the ceremony isn’t long.
The EDCF/SMPTE technical and post production workshop is underway at #IBC09. Quite interesting so far. Very technical.
Just sat through an interesting seminar on user generated content at #IBC09. Apparently, this Internet thing is going to be huge!
Sitting in the speaker’s room at #IBC09 after spending 6 hours on the show floor. Struggling to type with a European keyboard.
Made it to @IBCSHOW in Amsterdam in record time. Already checked in, picked up registration passes and am attending first panel.
I’m 20 minutes into “A Guide To Recognizing Your Saints”. Its quirky cinematic style and loose narrative are driving me crazy.
